Agricultural enterprise "Shulgino" near Moscow received 90 Danish cows, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Moscow Region Sergey Voskresensky said.

"More than 50 heifers and 35 bulls of Aberdeen-Angus and Hereford beef breeds were brought for breeding and improvement of the gene pool," he said.

After a clinical examination and inspection of supporting documents, the animals were sent to a quarantine area.

"Veterinary specialists conducted anti-epizootic measures and monitor the health of cattle. Daily clinical examination, diagnostic tests and vaccination are carried out to prevent the entry of dangerous infectious diseases into the region, "- said the head of the ministry, adding that the animals are now connected to the main herd of the enterprise.
