Russia's foreign trade turnover in the first 10 months of 2021 was about $570 billion. According to First Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Ruslan Davydov, it almost corresponds to the data for 2020.

"Now our trade turnover has already amounted to about $570 billion as of the middle of October. Almost the same as last year," he said, speaking on Russia 1.

According to the expert, in the absence of global shocks, Russia will be able to exceed the level of 2019 in this indicator. "There will probably be the largest trade turnover since 2014," Davydov said.

He also said that by mid-October, the service had transferred almost 5.1 trillion rubles to the country's budget. This is due to the favorable situation in the foreign trade market and growth on import payments, as people began to buy more expensive goods, on which the duty is paid.
