NooGen

The company NooGen is engaged in research of human DNA and RNA, and some time ago scientists managed to create analogues of these molecules for the latest drugs.

Siberian scientists working at NooGen have opened a new class of synthetic DNA, which can form the basis for a new type of drugs. The effectiveness of these DNA as the basis for a drug is also justified by the fact that it is easier for them to penetrate the cell membrane because they do not carry a negative charge. One of the company's chief executives announced Napoleon's plans, saying that they were going to make drugs that hit the genome of bacteria itself, blocking vital parts of the genome. Also, according to the director, scientists working at NooGen have managed to develop a way to obtain these synthetic DNA without using plants, which can save pharmaceutical companies a lot of money.

Any disease can be imagined as an impact on a genome. It could be a fight against the gene that spreads the disease, or it could be a stimulation of the body's protective systems, or it could be a correction. Since it takes at least ten years to put drugs on the market, the use of synthetic DNA will still have to wait. However, NooGen is not going to waste time and is already working on developing diagnostic systems based on these acids. At present, the Novosibirsk enterprise has become a resident of the Skolkovo innovation centre. The company is also actively looking for partners to join forces in choosing a virus to fight.

In turn, the use of synthetic acids for therapeutic purposes is currently the most ambitious part of the project. However, the diagnostic moment will be much faster: "it is possible to know the right area ... and in blood," says the CEO of the company. In case of recognition, it will be clear that a person is sick with a particular disease.
