A unique medical instrument for endovascular surgery, which is a coronary buj, was created by doctors in the Stavropol Territory. At the moment, one of the Russian manufacturers of medical equipment is considering the prospects of its serial production. This was told by the head of the region Vladimir Vladimirov in his Telegram channel.

"Stavropol doctors have created an unparalleled medical instrument for endovascular surgery - a coronary buj. With its help, the patency of the arteries of the heart is restored during operations for acute myocardial infarction. The development will make it possible to more effectively preserve the life and health of patients and increase the availability of high-tech treatment," Vladimirov said.

The invention, as noted by the head of Stavropol, has been developed since 2017. Bouj is planned to be made of polyamide and titanium nickelide.
