Coffee chain Cofix plans to cover at least 10% of the market in Russia

The Israeli chain of coffee shops Cofix is planning to take up at least 10% of the Russian market in the coming years, the company's press service informed the Made in Russia editorial office.

The chain launched in Russia in 2016, and already since 2019 has steadily entered the top 10 most profitable franchises costing from 5 to 25 million rubles according to Forbes magazine, as well as in the top 10 largest coffee and coffee and pastry shop chains according to RBC research. Now there are 210 coffee shops of the chain, including corporate coffee shops and franchises opened in eight cities of the country.

"Cofix will continue its active development in Russia. In 2021 the chain started to expand to the regions: coffee houses of the brand appeared in Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Sochi and Tula. The operation in Kazan which had been stopped a year earlier was resumed. In the near future the company plans to launch operations in three more new regions. Cofix also continues to expand in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Irkutsk. In 2022, the chain plans to open 171 coffee shops in Russia", the company's press service said.

Cofix is planning to open at least 14 more countries by the end of 2025, opening a total of 5,000 coffee shops in them. So, by the end of 2021 it is planned to go to China and new openings in Brazil and Poland, in 2022 coffee shops will be opened in Germany, the United Kingdom, Taiwan and the United States, and in 2023 - in India and Mexico.

Cofix is an international coffee shop brand founded in Israel in 2013. In August 2021, Cofix launched a special program that allows owners of other coffee shops to connect to the network. As part of this program, Cofix is waiving the lump sum fee and assuming the cost of rebranding the establishments. Entrepreneurs can connect to Cofix systems and take advantage of technical, logistical, operational and marketing support of the brand. The chain plans to develop this program in the regions through the support of local entrepreneurs.
