Turkish construction company MESA plans to enter the Russian market as an investor and developer, RIA Real Estate has learned.
According to Biterge Mehmet Murat, general director of the company's representative office in Russia, MESA will sign several contracts for construction of new facilities in the country already by the end of 2021.
"In the future we would like to reach at least two or three new contracts per year worth over $500 million. We are also interested in becoming investors, co-investors and one of the major developers in the Russian market," he said.
MESA has already become the general contractor for the second stage of construction of the Alia residential district, having signed a 10-billion-ruble contract with the developer Asterus.
At the moment the company is awaiting responses to general contract bids in Vladivostok, Kaliningrad, Perm Krai, Chelyabinsk and Krasnodar Krai.
MESA Mesken is one of the top 5 Turkish property developers. The company's portfolio of realised projects includes more than 14 thousand houses with a total area of 12 million square metres. The projects with the total area of more than 2 million square meters are under construction, the agency specified.
