Trade turnover between Russia and Brazil increased by 18% in 2021
Russian-Brazilian trade turnover increased from January to September 2021 compared to the same period last year by 74.6%, reaching almost $5 billion, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development said.
Thus, the trade turnover between the countries for the incomplete year of 2021 has already exceeded the 2020 totals by 18.3%.
"Since 2010, Brazil firmly maintains its position as Russia's number one trading partner in Latin America, with a share of 33% of our country's trade turnover with the region," said head of the Ministry Maxim Reshetnikov.
